RAD Rationale

Due to its past Dockland use, directional movement throughout the site is presently most accessible between East and West. While these routes will be retained, they will be accompanied by a comprehensively developed public space network, with the creation of new streets and blocks. Ultimately, permeability and legibility will be greatly increased - maximising movement.

Besides this, RAD will be greater connected with the surrounding area by the enhacement of green corridors and connection of existing public transport routes.
