Transport Strengths
The Royal Albert Docks have a huge amount of transport links. London city airport is based in the docks combined with the Docklands Light Railway, the underground and the A1020 stretching the entire length of the site.
Airport Weaknesses
Although the Airport does bring huge financial and employment benefits to the borough of Newham, the airport does come with local issues. One obviously in the noise that taking off and low flying aircraft creates in the surrounding area and the other is the height restriction on buildings restricts the profit that can be made in creating a high-density development.
